Our mission is to build a community rooted in shared wisdom and mutual growth. By listening deeply to our elders and creating space for intergenerational dialogue, we aim to lay the foundation for a new kind of think tank—one that prioritizes people over policy. We believe that stronger communities begin with stronger connections, and that meaningful change emerges from understanding, reflection, and care.
This experience is a transformative journey for our elders. They're invited to reflect on questions they may have never been asked—especially not by a stranger—and they do so in a space designed to feel safe, respectful, and deeply human. In that environment, they open up, offering raw, heartfelt responses that reveal the depth of their lived experiences. Many walk away feeling seen, valued, and truly heard. As they share memories—some joyful, others emotional—they gain new perspective on the moments that have shaped their lives and, in turn, the lives of those around them. It's not just a conversation; it's a profound act of connection and legacy.
Sharing these recorded interviews with the families of the elders can be a healing and meaningful experience. These videos serve as more than just a snapshot in time—they become living mementos, preserving the voices, stories, and wisdom of those who came before us. For children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, it's often the first time they see a different, more reflective side of a loved one. Through the Intentional Interview, families gain a clearer understanding of their roots, learning about the experiences that shaped their elders’ values, choices, and character. These stories carry lessons about resilience, failure, love, and growth, that future generations can learn from. By witnessing their elders’ reflections on life, they’re inspired to carry forward the wisdom shared, make more intentional choices, and strive to become the best versions of themselves.
This project was never about me; I was never meant to be at the center of it. From the beginning, it was about something much bigger, it was about enriching the minds and hearts of people within my community. Yet, along the way, as I engaged in these Intentional Interviews, I found myself absorbing powerful lessons—subtle, yet deeply applicable to my own life, both at work and at home.
That’s the true beauty of these interviews: they offer more than just stories; they provide real, tangible wisdom. They educate, inspire, and connect every person who watches or participates in one. Whether it be the elder themselves or their family or just anyone watching they walk away with something meaningful. It's a deeply well-rounded, full-circle experience—one I believe everyone should be part of, whether they’re seeking personal growth, emotional healing, or a way to pass on valuable life lessons to the younger generation.
